The next step for the Open Water Diver is this fun filled programme of 5 dives to improve your skills and knowledge and to introduce you to new underwater experiences. When you think of underwater adventure, what ignites your imagination? In this course you can dive on sunken wrecks, learn more about underwater navigation or photography, dive at night or journey into deeper water.



Course Outline:

This is a practical programme with no exams or videos and the emphasis is on diving. After a little self study from a manual, your 5 training dives are completed over 2 days on one of our dive trips.

You do two “core” dives which develop your skills in underwater navigation and deep diving to 30m, PLUS three other dives, which we will help you select from:

  • Wreck
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy
  • Enriched Air
  • Drift
  • Naturalist
  • Multilevel & Computer
  • Search & Recovery
  • Boat



Minimum Age: 12

Ability: Must be an Open Water Diver.

Medical: In good health.



Manual, Data slate, certification, modern equipment hire and instruction by one of
our PADI Instructors.

In other words absolutely everything you need and no hidden extras!



Emergency First Response is an innovative Resuscitation (CPR)/First Aid programme. Whether you are a diver or a non-diver, EFR prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations and by completing the course in a single day you will feel more confident to give a helping hand when needed. This course provides the CPR and First Aid prerequisites for the Rescue Diver course.


Course Outline:

This comprehensive course is composed of two core modules which will be taught in tandem: Primary Care covers the essential skills of CPR enabling you to deal with life threatening emergencies whilst Secondary Care helps you assist those in need when Emergency Medical Services are either delayed or unavailable.


Each module will consist of a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practise to make sure that you have the understanding and confidence to use your skills. Before attending the training you will receive a training pack , which you will study at home as part of your knowledge development.



This course enables divers to increase their confidence in self rescue skills, to develop techniques for rescuing others and to learn how to manage emergency situations. This certification is a prerequisite both for the prestigious Master Scuba Diver rating and entry into the Divemaster course. Despite the serious and challenging nature of the course, it is always enjoyable and fun.


Course Outline:

After some self-study at home using the course DVD and manual or online, you meet up with your Instructor to review your progress, apply your knowledge to local conditions and take your exam.


In the 2 pool sessions you will learn and develop skills including self rescue, techniques to deal with problems on the surface and underwater, dealing with responsive and non responsive divers and exit techniques.


The course completes with incident scenarios in open water on one of our dive trips

Ability: Advanced Open Water Diver and Emergency First Responder or equivalent.

Medical: Good health



This course will teach you the techniques of administrating oxygen in diving emergencies. We all know that oxygen plays a vital role in diving first aid but do you know when and how to use it?

This is a practical course which provides detailed knowledge not included in basic first aid courses.


Course Outline:

After some self study using a manual and DVD, you will attend a review session with
your Instructor. You will learn :

  • The physiology of oxygen use
  • When to provide oxygen
  • Which oxygen delivery method to choose
  • Assembly and operation of oxygen equipment
  • As a PADI Specialty, this course counts towards your Master Scuba Diver rating.



This course will teach you how to extend your dives by using enriched air (Nitrox). You will learn how to plan and execute Nitrox dives using both the Recreational Dive Planner and a dive computer. This is an essential course for all divers planning a liveaboard dive trip.



Course Outline:

After some self study using a manual and DVD, you will attend a review session with your Instructor. You will learn :

  • The benefits of Nitrox diving
  • The safe use and preparation on Nitrox equipment
  • Analysing your Nitrox blend
  • Planning and executing Nitrox dives
  • As a PADI Specialty, this course counts towards your
  • Master Scuba Diver rating.




Minimum Age: 15

Ability: Open Water Diver.
