Kids Diving

PADI BUBBLEMAKER

padi-bubblemaker-logoBubblemaker is as fun as it sounds – a chance for kids to experience scuba diving by blowing bubbles in the water. Children who are at least 8 years old can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water.  The PADI Bubblemaker program is designed to allow young kids to have an early start with underwater adventures. It can also be a fun event. Have a party or celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker event with friends and family.

A child must be 8 years old or older. Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.

Bubblemakers get a chance to:

  • Experience scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Pro.
  • Take their first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6 feet.
  • Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children – not adults.
  • Have lots of fun.

PADI SEAL TEAM

padi-seal-team-logoThe PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for a longer programme of action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting Scuba Aqua Missions. It provides parents or schools with a structured program that lets children develop skills and learn about the aquatic environment whilst having a lot of good, clean fun. This is also an excellent way to introduce kids to Scuba diving prior to a full Open Water Diver Certification.

The program will be conducted through 9 one hour sessions – 3 sessions for knowledge development including videos and 6 pool sessions covering the basic skills of Scuba diving. The sessions will be in groups of up to 6 participants and typically are conducted once a week over 9 weeks, but can be scheduled over a shorter period of time as required subject to Instructor availability.

Educational material is included in the Program. All Scuba equipment will be provided and sized specifically for use with children.

The child must be at least 10 years old, able to swim, feel comfortable in water and be of reasonably good health. The skills learnt on the PADI Seal Team program can be credited towards the PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification which would provide them with a globally recognized diving qualification for life.
